Baked with melt in the mouth all butter pastry and luxury mincemeat flavoured with Glenfiddich Whisky

‘My initial thoughts weren’t favorable, the tart was dry in appearance although had a good weight to it. There was a strong smell of Glenfiddich which put me off before I’d tasted it. However I was pleasantly surprised after tasting it, although I ate it cold I think these pies would benefit from being heating and served with vanilla ice cream. There was a lingering aftertaste of Glennfiddich which I needed to wash away with a cup of tea. Not recommended for mince pie virgins.’ – Paul

‘First impressions of this luxury mince ‘tart’ were poor. Upon opening the box I was greeted with what can only be described as a awful whiskey scent cloud. However after the smell had dispersed the taste and texture was not that disappointing, on reflection a  fairly good mince pie with substantial filling.’ – Adam
