6 luxury, deep filled mince pies. All butter shortcrust pastry filled with deliciously fruity mincemeat with vine fruits, glacé cherries, brandy and port

6 individual all butter pies with a rich mincemeat filling containing apricot, glacé cherries, almonds and brandy
Appearing quite sizable on first sight but on first bite revealing a mince meat void. Pastry looked a little pale but on the whole a good standard mince pie with nice pastry and filling.

However after the smell had dispersed the taste and texture was not that disappointing, on reflection a fairly good mince pie with substantial filling.

A lack of Christmas looks, a lack of substantial filling but yet a surprisingly enjoyable taste from this all butter pie.

I enjoyed the ratio of pastry to filling. I felt that each bite was never heavily populated by mince mixture or butter rich short crust.
