Boy do these smell good! The pastry colour is is rich, giving it a more home made appearance. My pie was very domed and biting into it could have been a messy affair hand I not been ready to control the crumbling. Paul told me it might be a little alcoholic for me, and I have to admit he was right. I like the odd drink now and again, but prefer it from a glass, bottle, puddle, not my mince pie. For this reason I can't commend it as highly as the other two reviewers. If you like like a harsh kick of booze in your pie then this is for you, if you don't, then join me for some M&S Lattice pies and a bottle of Vodka...

Without question the best pie of the year so far. Beautiful pastry and slightly reduced alcohol, although the flavour of the cognac did increase as I made my way though the pie. These are expensive but worth every penny.

Holy moly! Just tried this years connoisseur and the three letter word WOW springs to mind. I didn’t think the pie could get much better but somehow it has. A tastier pastry and beautiful colour are new recruits to this now magnificent mince pie. Well done M&S you’ve upped your pie game.
