4 Luxury Viennese Mince Pies
‘This non-tradional mince pie is not the nicest looking creation we’ve tested, but it does have it’s own style unlike anything else so far seen. After cutting the pie in half to see the pastry to pie ratio I was worried – there was a lot of pastry. I took a bite and for the first second I though my fear was well founded, but that wasn’t the case for long. The pastry was soft, and melted in the mouth leaving a rich, taste. Some may not like the minimal amount mince but I personally enjoyed it and think the overall taste was very balanced. Whilst it’s possibly too far removed to be called a true mince pie I would certainly recommend getting some to add variety at parties or just for a tasty treat.’ – Mince Pie Virgin
‘The lid of this ‘mince pie’ was like a loose pillow case, it was fluffy and delicate but totally condensable. When bitten the top seemed to disintegrate in an instant. It was a tastey pie that lacked filling, however it was a good introduction pie to a mince meat phobic.’ – Adam

Oh yes, oh yes, oh mmmm, yesss, oooh! I’m not sure I should still be called the Mince Pie Virgin after that sort of reaction, but these pies, whilst not the most traditional, are very scrumptious indeed!
