Hello S Harder,

We're just a review site so they're not actually our pies, however you should be able to buy Walkers Glenfiddich Mincemeat Tarts at any good super market, or local convenience store. This will need to be during the Mince Pie season which starts around mid October, but does get earlier every year so you could get lucky. As for finding them in Devon, this shouldn't a problem as these Scottish Pies have travelled even further south, across the English Channel to the shores of Guernsey when you've probably seen on the Spotlight evening news.

I wish you luck in your quest and please send us a review if and when you taste these pies again. If you happen to be visiting London at Christmas time be sure to hunt down some Konditor & Cook Mince Pies for the ultimate experience.

Oh yes, oh yes, oh mmmm, yesss, oooh! I'm not sure I should still be called the Mince Pie Virgin after that sort of reaction, but these pies, whilst not the most traditional, are very scrumptious indeed!

No sorry. I was not impressed with the taste of these mince pies.
The pastry was not a pleasent taste. It tasted too synthetic and had nothing like a homemade taste.
However, the Co op 'Truly Irrestistible' range of large mince pies were a different story. I thought they tasted quite delicious by comparison.

Boy do these smell good! The pastry colour is is rich, giving it a more home made appearance. My pie was very domed and biting into it could have been a messy affair hand I not been ready to control the crumbling. Paul told me it might be a little alcoholic for me, and I have to admit he was right. I like the odd drink now and again, but prefer it from a glass, bottle, puddle, not my mince pie. For this reason I can't commend it as highly as the other two reviewers. If you like like a harsh kick of booze in your pie then this is for you, if you don't, then join me for some M&S Lattice pies and a bottle of Vodka...

Without question the best pie of the year so far. Beautiful pastry and slightly reduced alcohol, although the flavour of the cognac did increase as I made my way though the pie. These are expensive but worth every penny.

Holy moly! Just tried this years connoisseur and the three letter word WOW springs to mind. I didn't think the pie could get much better but somehow it has. A tastier pastry and beautiful colour are new recruits to this now magnificent mince pie. Well done M&S you've upped your pie game.

A redesigned pack containing a redesigned pie but with the same taste as the previous year, albeit with slightly thicker pastry. The star that appeared on top of last years pie is now cut out from this pie making it ideal for zapping in the microwave. It looks impressive and the star window shows you exactly what you are to expect, and if it wasn't quite as pale I would be tempted to give it a 9/10 rating for appearance. Once again the filling has just the right level of alcohol. It's tasty but not a contender for this years crown.

I agree with everything said from last year's review but I was very disappointed when I excitedly bit into my first Gaudins pie of the year. Where has the filling gone? I know there is a recession on but please don't restrict the mince meat. My second pack was an improvement on the first but I have to down-grade the 2009 pie to a 6/10.
